Huguenot-Tassin, Signature Brut NV

Maison Huguenot-Tassin was created in 1984 by Benoît and Marie-Claire Huguenot. Now in the hands of their children, Adeline and Edouard, the vineyards stretch to 11Ha across the Cote-des-Bar, a Champagne region best known for its Pinot Noir. All the grapes are hand-harvested and organic farming practices are followed, meaning what you see in your glass is an awesome expression of authentic grower Champagne. Signature Brut NV is a Blanc de Noir made from 100% Pinot Noir blended from 15 different vintages. The nose has notes of lemon, green apple, yellow peach and dried fruits which moves to a creamy, almost melted palate with flavours of supple, crunchy fruitiness, supported by a fresh and elegant acidity. The clay-limestone soils in which the grapes grow gives it a great minerality which gives further fruity resonance and length to the long, round and fruity finish.
